Securing such extensive organic certification is no small feat. Each ingredient must be traced back to its growth origins and fields must only use natural fertilizers and encourage biodiversity.
All ingredients must be minimally processed without chemical additives and all stages, from the choice of raw material to the transformation technology, must satisfy the highest quality assurance standards. In Italy, this involves a constant control from the Italian specialized authority for organic products: Consorzio per il Controllo dei Prodotti Biologici Soc. Coop.
Based in New York City, Punzoné, Inc. owns, produces and markets a line of products under the name Punzoné.
Frank Guerrera is the entrepreneurial brain behind Punzoné. Guerrera is a first generation Italian American from New York City. In 2007, after several years in the finance industry, Guerrera decided to form Punzoné and threw his heart and soul into the formation of his company and into finding the right partners.
It took over six years and an arduous amount of work to break into an industry primarily led by conglomerates, but after paying painstaking attention to every detail of the business, Guerrera pushed the limits and his
perseverance and precision has brought Punzoné to market today.
Punzoné officially launched in July 2012. Guerrera lives in New York City with his wife and three small boys.
Formerly a senior executive at William Grant & Sons, Klauber brings decades of experience in the spirits industry to Punzoné. Klauber collaborates with Frank Guerrera on business and organizational development and financial management, helping the brand enter the next phase of expansion. At William Grant & Sons, Klauber served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President. He was a member of the senior team responsible for the growth and development of brands such as Glenfiddich and Balvenie Single Malt Scotch Whiskies, Frangelico, and Hendricks Gin, to name a few.
